This is the world in which the stories of Eva Cernat (Oana Zavoranu), Rebeca Alecu (Lili Sandu), Mihnea and Robert Nicolau (Alexandru Papadopol), Alexandru Damian (Razvan Fodor) and Ilina (Xing Elena Ling) take place.

Eva Cernat was adopted by the Alecu family and became very close to her foster mother as a child. Unfortunately, she was forced to return to the orphanage when the woman died during the childbirth of daughter Rebeca. Now Eva is the most feared person in show-business, as she is beautiful, sophisticated and diabolical. She works at a tabloid, but has never ceased to deem Rebeca responsible for the death of the only person she has ever loved.

The twins, Robert and Mihnea, were separated at the age of eight, when their father died. Their mother tried to minimize her responsibilities by deciding to keep Mihnea, whereas Robert was given for adoption to a family in Timisoara. Robert, marked by his mother's abandonment, grew up to be a cynic and self-interested man. His twin brother, however, is completely the opposite: shy, reserved and introverted although he has remained with his mother.

Now 30, Mihnea works in an advertising agency, and Robert is a famous photographer.

Alex Damian is Mihnea's best friend. He is an educated man who dreams of meeting the love of his life. He feels he has met the right woman when he becomes acquainted with Ilina, a sensitive, tender woman. Even if the love they feel for each other is real, they will face many obstacles.

Mihnea is living a beautiful love story with Roxana (MD), and the two are to get married soon. Unfortunately she sees Robert embracing another woman in a restaurant and mistakes him for Mihnea. She decides to get even by dumping him in front of the altar.
