“State of Romania – Student in Sorbonne” Began Filming

In Paris, on May 11th, “Action!” was shouted for “State of Romania – Student in Sorbonne”, a feature film produced by Promance International, a MediaPro Pictures company, which airs this fall on ProTv.

For a week, the film crew was in the capital of France where State and Flacara Potcovaru (Gheorghe Visu and Carmen Tanase) together with Minodora (Doinita Oancea) and Stiven (Octavian Strunila), guided by directors Iura Luncasu and Larry Maronese, continue their well-known story from the TV productions “Gypsy Heart” and “Regina” broadcast by Acasa TV.

State Potcovaru’s story began in Paris and, as expected, continued in Paris. Our famous character now returns in the city situated on the river Seine, but with new plans and strategies correlated to his new status. All these changes lead to brand new adventures and confusions which viewers can discover this fall.

Promance International’s new motion picture is filmed in famous locations from Paris such as Pont Alexandre III or the prestigious Sorbonne. For Gheorghe Visu, Carmen Tanase and Doinita Oancea this is not the first time filming in Paris, but they are thrilled to return on the shore of Seine with this new project. The actors are happy to continue Potcovaru’s story, thus spending more time with the characters they are playing for over two years.
