State of Romania – the first episode drew 1.5 million viewers
Our latest TV series, State
of Romania, premiered September 28th on Pro TV. National
viewers were excited to see the brand-new adventures of the most
beloved Romanian TV couple, State and Flacara Potcovaru, amazingly
portrayed by Gheorghe Visu and Carmen Tanase.
With 1.5 million viewers, Pro TV was the audience leader on the
prime-time slot with this season's comedy, State of
Romania.
On its debut night, the comedy series attained during its 70-minute
run 5.8 rating points and a 20.2% market share among urban viewers
18-49. State of Romania pushed Pro TV at the top of the ratings,
while Antena 1 reached 3.1rtg/10.6shr and Kanal D achieved
2.2rtg/7.6shr with the reality show Lost in Panama.
Pro TV was also market leader on the All Urban demo, drawing 5.6
rating points and 16.8% market share. Challenger Antena 1 ranked
second with 2.9 rtg/8.7 shr.
The peak was reached at 22:46 when Pro TV attracted almost 1.5
million viewers. The series retained the ratings' top with an
average rating of 6.9 points and a market share of 22.4%.
