Regina retains its crown as ratings leader
On January 22nd, Regina scored the highest rating since launch day on all key demos according to Gfk Romania, thus retaining its title as Romania’s most-watched television program.
The prime-time long running series ranked first on the 15-49 year-old urban women demographic that advertisers keep in view. Regina challenges its own record writing down a 99% leadership. The series retained the ratings’ top with an average rating of 13.5 points and a market share of 32.4%. PRO TV claimed the second position with 4.5 rating/10.8 share, followed by Kanal D drawing 4 rating points and 9.6% market share.
The peak on the key female demos was reached at 9:01 PM when ACASĂ scored the highest rating of 16.1 points and a market share of 37.5%.
Regina also outshined its own record on the segment consisting of urban women and men of all ages. ACASĂ was the absolute audience leader pulling in an 11.6 rating/24 share in the mentioned segment. Setting the series high were the 1.5 million viewers that tuned in to see State performing his unusual hip-hop dance.
Ever since its impressive debut, the prime-time long running series continues to perform successfully on all key demos achieving high ratings and market shares. The episodes aired last year provided the broadcasting station with the highest ratings during prime-time.
