In the Gypsy Camp, the world is divided between The Gypsies and the Romanians. Honor and traditions still guide the destinies of the Gypsies, while the Romanians consider that their time is gone.

The stability reached with Codrut and Irina's wedding is about to fall apart when Don Antonucci, the shadow partner of State Potcovaru returns to the Gypsy Camp along with his family. He is charismatic, influential and revengeful. His past remains undisclosed to all and no one suspect the reasons behind his decision to return to Romania.

Regina, Don's adopted daughter, attracts everyone's attention right from the first moment: her face with noble traits is in full contrast with her submissive and wild nature. She is totally subdued to her father's will. The Gypsies are impressed by the girl's blonde beauty, but they are unaware of her secret which is sealed within a medallion fiercely kept by Don Antonucci.

Her brother, Armando, is also the center of attention. Violent as a predator, he looks down on everyone and treats them as merely unimportant subjects. He sees Regina as his woman and slave and is not willing to share her with anyone: he has the right of life and death over the girl.
A great challenge for all involved will be the appearance of Cosmin, an ex-convict who finds shelter in the Gypsy Camp and is ready to start anew. His calmness and cold-blooded nature will determine Don Antonucci to offer him the possibility to work in his house. But Don doesn't suspect the consequences of his decision: Regina and Cosmin will meet and their love will have an unexpected turn on everyone's life.

In the Romanian world, Gigi Dumbrava has not forgotten the past: the Gypsy heart that beats inside his chest constantly reminds him of the hatred he feels for those he considers guilty of his economic downfall. Not even his favorite daughter's marriage, Irina, is a reason to be joyful, not as long as she remains married to "that Gypsy".
